Heaven and Earth Three -Cycles of Return

Come to Carkeek and hunt a treasure trove of sculptures amongst beautiful seattle city woodlands.
I am presenting a work called "Bee Love 2011" big shout out to those solitary bees who live not in colonies but all by their wee bee selves.
I have created two bee boxes for said bees and all materials were recycled or natural ; bamboo from my parents garden, cans recycled from my kitchen bark taken from the forest floor.

The exhibition will run to the beginning of october.

these were from our journey home from pack wood a couple months back. i tried to go slightly for the oldy worldy postcardy feel of those old postcards that were reminiscent of hand painted photos.  the greens always seemed to be really bright... the painterly melded with the photographic - a combination i much appreciate.

friday night sunset golden gardens

friday night and warm enough to go watch the sun set at the easiest to access beach - golden gardens.
walked , met a drunk who kept wanting to make friends with poor tiggy who wanted nothing to do with the drunk who thought both tim and talula spoke "so fast" no sir you are just really drunk.

Fantail Mushrooms, Franklin Falls

Fantail mushrooms - I took a load of these as they had amazing water drops on bases. Unfortunately the camera and I didnt jive yesterday and well no tripod so triple exposure jpgs for pressing through the HDR did not happen and can not everything too wobbly.

 So this is what I got not alot , not that great  but did have a nice adventure and that's really what mattered yesterday.
