Swallows at Abandoned Motel, Near Steamboat Rock

these are pretty damn good structures for some little birds - what would be the human equivalent? an adobe? the birds were living inside and outside and swooping down and up and to and fro in the space in between buildings,  as only swallows do.
if i could have a work crew of swallows to assist in building my earth ship and maybe some woodpeckers employed to do fine carvings...
if only i had the animal translator that talula wanted me to buy then i would totally hire the animals to sort this whole thing out.

one of the many beautiful birds we saw at fort casey on mothering sunday.
we have established good relations with the birds not that they will be calling us to tea of babysit anytime soon BUT things are more then cordial.
i will find out what this little fellow is and report back.
