Palouse Falls , Wa
People can camp here!
can you imagine waking up to it?
Going to sleep next to it would be pretty amazing as well!
it would be a veritable double header of natural excitement brought on by the vastness of eastern washington.
I miss the big sky coming back to Seattle, suddenly everything feels covered...

Palouse
Patchwork pieces of the Palouse.
It feels very much alien even with the green. our last visit was in September when all was gold, brown possibly burnt.

Fungus in Walla Walla
it was steaming hot on our visit to Walla Walla.
we visited a nature preserve on the land of Fort Walla Walla.
There was this head sized fungus amongst an area that was like a fortress of trees, some human interaction having made it more nest like, with branches folded into the weird interlacing of the trees.
