The first frost that stuck

 

Carkeek November 16th, 2014 a thick frost that stuck all day.

Burnt Montana Wood

we saw the remnants of so many forest fires in our Montana explorations. here is some of the burnt wood aka charcoal.

leaf fingers

my dog get these weird eye fingers, that is what we call them anyhow.
They are like really tough fingery zits - with keratin build up inside.
They started happening about ten months ago.
These leaf fingers remind me of the dog's eye fingers.
