two weekends ago an osprey eating a fish

walking the bridge walk as we call it from the Eddie Mcabee entrance of carkeek park.
on the way in struck by sight of a larger then average for this part of carkeek bird.
an eagle- not the right beak- too stumpy a beak- we have my camera and photograph the bugger.
and watch it for a good twenty minutes  being hassled by crows wanton of it's fish.
a lady stands with us watching wondering if its a baby crow- she assuming the crows would only hassle were it out of aggression of having one of their own stolen from them.
we can only tell later on the big computer screen that it is a fish.
lots of other people walked past only half them seemed to notice the humans rubbernecking towards the sky but if they had looked they woulda seen this fella - or lady bird i was not aware of it's gender.

the crows eventually seemed to give up

definitely a fish
