it was pretty wet and rainy and talula did not see her dog friend Crystal from two doors down who obviously chose to avoid morning meanderings due to wetness.
big mop of a dog would take so long to dry i imagine.
so we went up some rougher roads - although not bad- to Greenwater lakes. Past several areas used obviously for shooting-
perhaps we were hearing all the gun shots from on our first and second nights- not so much now that the rain started - target shooters like the dog chosen perhaps an indoor location on this day.
the parking for this was pretty busy when we arrived- forest pass required!
we made it to the first of the green lakes. saw some big ass birds of prey as we entered the lake area- who went shy as soon as camera divulged from underneth coat.
upon our return to the parking lot there was no one but us - the last ones on the trail.
i swear we had done part of this trail before- but never gotten to lakes.
everyone in good spirits upon this success despite much wet.
