Montana was partially about incorrectly remembering the lengths of trails.
when thinking we were on a 3 mile round trip trail with an easy stride twice we were on over 7 mile trails with tough going 2,000 grade climb.
oops.
Our vacations would drive the obsessive planner nuts as we are very free flowing and don't always reach the "goal" if the goal for most is in fact the end of the trail.
Montana, bigger you are then Washington, more spread out you are and by golly your trails are more as well.
More, More , More.
All this space and you are starting to grow with folks coming for your space.
I hope the winter diluge keeps most the folks away, so you can be wild.
